A sailing order puts three unrelated fabric problems in one quote, which is why a single-fabric proposal should stop the conversation. The deck layer is a light problem. Hardware Is the Shortest-Lived Component

In most categories hardware is an afterthought specified at the end of a tech pack. In sailing it is the component most likely to end the garment's life. The Buoyancy Aid Owns the Chest

A sailing squad wears four textile layers and then puts hardware over them, so a fit approval on a single garment in isolation proves almost nothing.
