The hand and fingers are tan goatskin over a second inner layer of cowhide across the palm, thumb and back of the hand; the gauntlet cuff flares to 18 cm wide at the elbow in the same tan leather, with a dark brown cowhide edge binding. A leash slit 3 cm long is cut and bound at the base of the palm; a brass D-ring on a leather tab sits at the back of the wrist for the jesses. A thumb tab with a brass stud, saddle-stitched seams in tan thread, a brass hang eyelet at the cuff edge. Offered as a right-hand on request; shown worn on the left hand with the right hand bare.
